Seven rounds for time of:
10 Handstand push-ups
45lb dumbbells Squat clean, 10 reps
10 L-pull-ups (atlternative is regualr pull-ups with or with out assistance)
alternative to handstand push-ups

ReplyDeleteHow is the primal blueprint different from the Atkins diet?
Where the Atkins draws the lines at Carbs as "the bady guys" the primal blueprint says its grains. There are many carbs that don't interfer with your system, almost everyone has at least a small problem with processing grains. Think of Colitis but on a smaller scale in everyone that eats grains. I have heard of many diets that are like this and by and large they are al effective for providing energy and nutrients that an athelte or Martial Artist needs.
ReplyDeletemany "specialists" and "scientists" says that the cleansing properties of grains are good, howver the priaml blueprint and the Paleo Diets say that the reason it cleans you out is be cause of the toxic effect of those foods.
as with all diets there is no one answer and you must try and addapt it to your body and needs. Some people can eat more cabs or more sugars or more protien or more veggies, each person must evaluate it for themselves.
The most improtant thing about the Primal blueprint is that our bodies aren't designed to tolerate much grain, if any at all. They talk about evolution I talk about God and the way were made to eat.

1st WoD
2 minute rounds with 30 sec break inbetween
jump rope 2 rounds no break inbetween
Pull-ups max in 2 min. 19 reps
Punch the heavy bag mostly straight punches
Sit-ups max in two min 70
Kick the heavy bag round house kick
Clean 95lbs max in 2 min 20 reps
Punch the bag any punches that still worked... lol
2nd workout
WoD;
Couldn't do the modified push-ups because of a muscle pain in my shoulder did one round of modified then just straight push-ups
Did 30lb dumbbell squat cleans
did all the pull-ups unassisted, slow but unassisted
total time: 30:07
that was rough!!
